I received my BSc. (2010) degree in Electrical Engineering from Khalifa University, the Petroleum Institute, UAE, where I was the recipient of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's (ADNOC) scholarship. Following my BSc., I worked as a technical support and projects engineer in one of ADNOC's subsidiaries in the oil & gas industry from (2010) to (2015). I also completed my MSc. degree in 2015 from Khalifa University. In 2016, I was awarded the Masdar Institute's (MI) fellowship for the joint MI and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Program for the PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering, and received my PhD degree in 2020 for my work on power systems optimization and economics. Following the completion of my PhD, I joined LIST as a postdoctoral research associate. I was the recipient of a number of student awards. My research interests are diverse, and include feedback control systems, and power system applications of data science, optimization, complex networks theory, and game-theory.
